Desh Raag – Patriotic Original Song Competition
Desh Raag is a patriotic original music competition, unique and first of it’s kind. It is a movement that has been initiated with the ideology of providing each individual a voice, be it through their music as a participant, or through their words as the audience, or the forum, to present their patriotic sentiments without radically changing the way they go about their daily lives. This will become a platform for Indian musicians to portray their art in front of the country and in turn to inspire this billion plus nation.
It is a two phase music competition, conducted in the first phase online, and in the second phase, at a studio setting. Gaurav Gatha – Patriotic Original Poem Competition
Gaurav gatha is a unique competition to restore the sense and feeling of patriotism for the country. Gaurav Gatha is structured around the idea, that the youth, India’s most formidable resource, has few creative platforms to express nationalistic sentiment. There is pressing need for a forum for creative young minds to showcase feelings about the nation to bring about the change that they envision through art. A confluence of Youth, Music, Patriotism and Mass Awakening is aimed at through this initiative.
India being a nation of values, culture and diversity has skewed from the path of unimpeded nationalistic thought. Our Youth, which constitutes more than half of our nation’s population, needs to be inspired to believe and express what our forefathers who shaped the nation stood for.
Our country is rich in the diversity of its cultural heritage and hence an art form that is uniform across the nation is chosen to represent nationalistic sentiment; Poem. Through this sublime art,Gaurav Gatha aims to integrate the dissociated and waning patriotism while ensuring a platform for musicians to portray their art in front of the country and in turn to inspire this billion plus nation. Road Accident Victims
RAV is part of a humanitarian response to a sad situation which could have been easily prevented, but which for general apathy and indifference of all has developed into a man-made disaster. The initiative purports to be a community formed through voluntary participation of citizens with a noble intent to save humanity from destruction and devastation perpetrated by road accidents.
RAV’s mission is three-fold: (1) To understand the sufferings of Road Accident Victims. (2) To identify, explore and adopt ways which would help mitigate the sufferings of victims. (3) To identify and explore ways of reducing Road Accidents, in an attempt to minimize number of victims.
