1. I really liked the speaker series we had- it exposed me to small but very meaningful details about how government works and a part of our lives I hadn't even considered- one where millions wake up every morning to run a huge government that serves 17% of humanity. However, I would ask speakers to talk about more than just good governance and citizens being disciplined- I believe hearing from them should be about their perspective on how India needs to both improve and how it's leaping forward, and where they've seen that in their many years of service in their fields. 2. The cohort I worked with and weekly presentations- I got to learn about 60 different departments and topics. I'm grateful to Rakshak for expanding my mind so much. 3. Encouragement to go for field visits and interviews

Really supportive coordinators- One coordinator helped me find a potential mentor, another took time out to talk to me about rural healthcare and how I could interview people, and another was an awesome friend to take to lunch and chat with.

Project: Research Grant Proposals for Rakshak Foundation
Institute: 3rd Year, BTech, IIT Kanpur
Mentor: Professor. Virendra Bansal
Mentor Affiliation: Rakshak Foundation
Mentor Designation: Primary Advisor
Internship Experience: Excellent platform to express your patriotic sentiments towards our nation
Internship Feedback:

1. The Program provided an opportunity to the bright youth of our country like us to come forward and discuss your extraordinary ideas that can change the existing pattern of our country which is really in a sorry state. 2. The program served as a medium to work and share your ideas with the most renowned officials of our country. By sharing your ideas with such people one really feels satisfied because these people are in the administration and they are having the power to bring the necessary thing in the system. Hence one feels in such a way that they have kept their ideas to them and in return they will provide us with proper utilization of that idea. 3. This internship provided us with an exposure to look into the issues that have been affecting the massive population by allowing us to make and plan a visit to such places which really requires something supernatural. This way we understood the root cause as to why this is happening and suggest some measures in our report in order to bring a change. 4. The program made us aware about the power of a common man which when exercised can bring a new era. For example RTI many of us already knew about RTI from outside but not deep enough like how they are filed, what type of questions we can ask and what not. This program provided us with such an interactive workshop which really made us clear as to what RTI actually is.

Management Feedback:

1. Rakshak Foundation provided us a A.C. Hall so that we interns can have an excellent conditions to work on. The foundation left no stone upturned in providing us with great facilities as according to them results will only come when one gets a comfortable and a soothing environment to pursue his/her research. 2. The foundation accommodated us within the IIT Delhi campus in order to make it convenient for us to come and do research. The rooms were well furnished and provided us the mess facilities, LAN as well. 3. As far as management is concerned it was awesome experience under Rakshak Foundation. I was really very impressed with the way the coordinators tackled all the problems faced by us. They provided us with the library card and gave us an opportunity to go to reading room at night and continue our research even after LAN went off during night at hostels. 4. Coordinators were very helpful in providing us with all the necessary material to make our research efficient and effective. Most importantly they were very good persons as far as their nature is concerned. IT was just a fabulous experience which I'll never forget in my life.
