History

Rakshak Foundation was founded in 2006 by a group of concerned citizens from India’s elite educational institutions working in USA. It was in the manner of giving back in a small way to United States and India, countries that had provided them so much in terms of opportunities. The Foundation seeks to create an informed society, aware of its rights and duties, and attempts to address barriers to an equitable and just society.
